Those two hombres see an awful lot of the local kids in Indiana. I'm sure they see 95% of the kids on these lists more than the national guys many of us pay money for. And they probably have about the same coaching background...
I like that they both have Gary Harris first. I'm not sure if Gary Harris or Yogi Ferrel is the best player in Indiana's 2012 class, but both are excellent choices. One national guy picked Little Big Dog, who is a fine player and athlete but I think the kids ahead of him on these lists are much better players now and they both have better upsides at the next level. I really like how high Demling has Ron Patterson and I really like how high Neddenreip has Kellen Duhnam. Those two kids have a dominant feature at the next level (defense for Patterson and shooting for Duhnam) that should ensure their success.
Missing from this list are three kids that prepped elsewhere that Mongreltopia shall still claim; Mitch McGary, Devontes Smith-Rivera, and AJ Hammons. Here's the Good Mongrel's stab at the class...
